Ancient One / Kennewick Man
The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation
is pleased that the District Court granted our motion to intervene
in the Ancient One litigation. We feel that the court has appropriately
recognized that we have a right to participate as full parties
in this litigation. We look forward to protecting our own interests
by appealing this case to the Ninth Circuit. However, we will
continue to urge the United States to appeal this decision on
their own.
